Chai Latte's Information
Age Range: Unknown
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Chai was found in mid August in our front yard. He meowed at us and entered our home without resistance the moment we opened our door, we believe he is an abandoned or lost pet. He has lived with us since. I already have two cats so I can’t keep him but have fostered him until I made sure he didn’t have a previous family looking for him. He currently has an appointment to be neutered, vaccinated, nail trim, and flea bathed so he will be ready the moment he is moved with his future permanent family. Currently he has Advantage II Large Cat flea protection.
Chai has a quiet meow that sounds like a squeak, white base and blonde color, medium length fur, a fluffy racoon tail, and bright blue eyes. He is very skinny as he was probably lost for sometime. He enjoys being cuddled, held, and petted. He purs the moment he comes near you. He understands commands, yet still likes to climb onto counters when we are not looking. He understands how to be walked with a leash and harness. He enjoys his Dr.Elsey’s Protein cat food, but he also likes human food. He is happiest when he is with his humans and rarely bothers us for attention, but the moment we are ready to give him attention, he is there ready and happy. He knows how to use the litter box without making much mess. He cleans himself regularly. He enjoys sleeping on his cat bed, the tile, the sofa, and on a bed with a person, but will conform to any option if he has to. He doesn’t get along with my female cats, as my female cats are not fond of him so I do not know if that is what is affecting their relationship and likes to walk in front of us which we are not used to. He also has an occasional cough which we are giving him medication for. Other than that he is a very great and sweet boy, I believe he’d do best in a home without any other pets or only one other pet so he can have most of your attention. I do think he can be trained to get along with other playful pets. I highly believe he deserves to be in a loving home.
