I adopted Lupin from a veterinary clinic in August of 2011. He was a kitten who was thrown out of a car window on the freeway and he had a broken leg. He spent his first couple of months healing in the clinic.
He’s a very nervous cat who will hide under the bed or in a corner when people are around. As a ragdoll, he’ll go limp when he’s held and when he wants to be pet, he’ll catapult his skull against your limbs awkwardly. He’s neither fractious or mean but unexpected loud sounds can startle him and might leave a scratch.
He does have dominate tendencies with my other cat but he mostly stays to himself no matter where he is inside. He never bolts for an open door. He is very loyal.
At ten years old, he’s now more sensitive about the condition of his litter box. He drinks a ton of water and will pee outside of his box if it’s not clean. Scooping daily is going to be a must for him. He also needs to be shaved down to help manage messes and to give him a confidence boost.
